Christian Endeavour is the main organisation of Clonaneese and has been since it was introduced to us over 50 years ago. Most of those in leadership in the church have come up through the ranks of C.E. where they have obtained good training for leadership and teaching.
Junior and Junior High CE
Friday nights 7.15pm-8.15pm. October to March
Junior and Junior High grades meet on Friday evenings at 7.15pm. An enthusiastic team of leaders seek to encourage the children who attend through choruses, memory verses, quizzes and Bible stories etc. Some of the children who attend come from other churches or no church background.
Young Peoples CE (YPCE)
7.30pm-9pm. 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
Young People’s Christian Endeavour is for young people of 13 – 21 years from both congregations and the local area. The aim of this organisation is to see young people both come to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus and grow spiritually in him through WORSHIP, WORD & WORK. The meetings consist of a time of Praise & Worship by the Praise Team, Quizzes, Ice breakers, Mission/Outreach reports, Topics etc. all led and presented by the members. We occasionally invite a guest speaker or Missionary along to take part in our meetings.
Young Adults CE (YACE)
7.30pm. 3rd Sunday of the month
Young Adults Christian Endeavour is a group of approx. 15 -18 young adults in their 20’s and 30’s who meet together one Sunday night a month. Our meetings are quite informal and interactive. We do have the occasional speaker along, however most of the meetings are taken entirely by our own members.
Senior CE
The Senior grade of Christian Endeavour, which is for 35 years plus, also meets on Sunday evenings. Its purpose is to encourage participation in the meetings, have a time of fellowship and where possible to support and encourage the other C.E. grades.
CE Choir
The CE Choir is made up of both the Young People & Young Adults sections of CE. The aim of the choir is to share the message of the Gospel and the difference that Jesus can make in a life through Praise & Worship. The choir is also an opportunity for fellowship among the members and a time for drawing close to God. The CE choir not only sings in our own congregations but travels all around Northern Ireland singing and taking part in various services and youth events.
